This chord constitutes an extreemely practical and quite elegant accessory recommended for our larger pendants. It's appearance is intentionally simple in order to drive attention to the center piece which is ultimately the pendant worn on it, yet the clasp adds significantly to the over-all impression adding a fine touch and making it so much more interesting than a basic chord. The clasp is sterling silver and finely finished, quite heavy and indeed a nicely crafted piece of jewelry in itself. You will find this chord to be practical as it can be used and worn with almost any item of jewelry in your existing jewelry collection.

Material:

The advantage of rubber is that it has a nice matte appearance comparable to leather, only it is alot more durable than leather is over time and unlike leather it is completely water-proof and washable. (Real leather tends to become slimy with repeated water contact).

Thickness:

The chord is 2.5 mm thick and will fit through the bails of our larger pendants (in fact over 90% pendants on our site, with the exception of some extremely small ones).

The solid sterling silver cylindrical clasp measures aprox 2 cm long and is very firmly built to last.
