Alexander the Great lifetime tetradrachm from Amphipolis, Macedonia, c. 336-326 BC
As with all of Alexander's imperial tetradrachms, the facet depicts a young (beardless) Herakles/Hercules wearing a lion skin head dress, with the lion's paws tied at his neck.
